“ We happened to be rolling through Hartford, Alabama and since it was close to lunchtime decided to give it a try. Wow! The ambience was perfect in this converted historical building. Our server, Meghan was attentive, quick and gave great suggestions. The food was perfect. I had the chicken tenders, a baked potato, turnip greens, hush puppies and pecan cobbler. Everything was perfect right down to the fact that they also served actual butter with the meal not buttery spread. The cooks obviously takes a lot of pride in the food they prepare. It's rare to have every element of a meal so good, usually something falls a little short but not here - perfection! We highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back when we are in the area. ”
